Seven things, done properly.
Every price below is a real starting point for a real build — not a headline figure with the base, the electrics and the doors quietly left out.
Garden Rooms
from £15,600
A properly insulated, year-round room at the bottom of your garden — office, studio, gym or guest space. Built on its own insulated base, clad in external composite, plastered and painted, ready to use.
Garage Conversions
from £21,000
Turn an integral or attached garage into a room you'd actually sit in — insulated, glazed, wired and finished, with building control sign-off handled for you.
Glass Rooms
from £15,000
An enclosed, glazed room against the back of the house — glass roof, glass sides, used in February as well as July. Not a canopy: a room.
Glass Verandas & Canopies
from £4,000
A glass or opening louvred roof over your patio or back door — open at the sides, so it still feels like the garden, but you can sit out in a shower. Plain aluminium posts or ornate cast columns, with lighting built into the rafters.
Conservatory Warm Roofs
from £8,500
Most conservatories share one flaw: a polycarbonate or older glass roof with almost no thermal efficiency — a greenhouse in July, a fridge in January. We remove the old roof and replace it with a fully insulated, building-control-compliant lightweight warm roof. Cool in summer, warm in winter, and quiet in the rain.
Hard Landscaping & Outdoor Living
Priced on application
Low-maintenance, precision-engineered outdoor living spaces built for year-round durability and seamless entertaining — porcelain patios, capped composite decking and rot-proof fencing, all on properly excavated sub-bases with real drainage. We don't lay slabs on sand or drop decking on wet soil.
Venetian Plastering
Priced on application
Hand-applied lime plaster, trowelled on in thin coats and burnished to a marble-like sheen. A finish with genuine depth — it catches the light differently through the day, and it lasts the life of the wall. No honest 'from' figure exists until the wall has been seen, so every job is measured and quoted fixed after a look.
Prices include VAT. Most of our clients invest £15,000 and up. If your budget is below £4,000 we're honestly not the right firm for you, and we'd rather say so now than after we've both spent a Saturday on it.
A warm room, a world away.
“Cwtch” is the Welsh word for a cuddle, a safe place, a hideaway. Every garden room we build is designed around that feeling — a room that holds the light and the view and keeps the weather at the door.
Insulated wall and roof panels, external composite cladding, plastered and painted, insulated floor with LVT on top. No timber substructure to rot, no annual staining, no silvering. It arrives as a room, not a shell — and it's yours for ten years, guaranteed.

Read them all on GoogleWe recently had Cwtch and Canopy complete a major garden renovation, and the results are absolutely outstanding. They completely transformed our garden into a beautiful, multi-tiered layout. The attention to detail on the hardscaping is flawless. The team was professional, hardworking, and respectful of our property from start to finish. Access to the garden is particularly challenging up a set of narrow steps which they never moaned about when having to carry all the materials up there by hand! If you are looking for a landscaping company that delivers true craftsmanship and brings a complex design to life, I cannot recommend Cwtch and Canopy highly enough.

They did a fantastic job of my patio and rendering. Great communication throughout and made the whole process as stress-free as possible. Highly recommended and I’ll certainly return to them next time I need any work done

We started Cwtch & Canopy so we could sleep at home.
Our commercial work meant months away — London, Scotland, wherever the contract was. Good money, high standards, and you miss everything. So we built the thing we'd rather be doing: the same standard of work, within driving distance of our own front doors.
We're not covering anywhere else. That's not a limitation — it's the reason the company exists.
More about usMost garden rooms
need no planning permission.
Behind the house, single storey, eaves no higher than 2.5 m — and in Wales a garden room normally falls under permitted development whatever its floor area. Within 2 m of a boundary, the whole structure has to stay under 2.5 m.
Building regulations are a separate question, and they follow floor area: exempt under 15 m², and between 15 and 30 m² still exempt if the room sits a metre off every boundary.
We check both for you before you commit to anything, and the estimator flags them live as you change the size.
